The Boti Falls is located at North-East Koforidua, about 30 minutes’ drive away from the Eastern regional capital, Koforidua.

The rive Pawnpawn forms the falls and takes it source from Ahenkwa-Amalakpo and falls over the igneous rocks at Boti Langmase.

The falls were first discovered by a Catholic priest who was taking a tour of the forest where there the falls is located.

There are two falls at the venue; the upper and lower falls.

The locals around here believe it’s a mall fall and a female fall and there is a time when the volume of the water is high, (typical during the rainy season) the two meet.

The locals celebrate this day calling it the mating season.

There are a number of attractions here too, like the umbrella rock and the three-head-palm tree, all within the forest where the falls can be located.

This is a great place for a getaway outside Accra, where you can have picnics and adventure walks as the tour guards are always available to assist you.
