The Manhyia Palace in Kumasi is home and seat of the Asantehene of the Ashanti Kingdom.

It is located in Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti Region of Ghana.

It was built by the British in 1925 after they had destroyed the old one originally built by Ghanaians.

Currently, the Manhyia Palace built by the British is now a museum with the actual residence of the Asantehene located just behind the palace.

Home to the rich culture of the Ashantis, the Manhyia Palace is always filled with tourists who troop in to have a feel of the rich culture portrayed.
