The Mole National Park is located in the Northern Region of Ghana and is the largest national park in the country.

It is so worth the visit as there are a number of wildlife activities that tourists can witness such as the activities of elephants, baboons, monkeys and other smaller wildlife.

Unlike Eastern and Southern Africa where safaris are done in vehicles, the Mole National Park encourages Safari to be done on foot as there are a smaller number of predators at the park.

Safaris on foot are done within the early hours of 6am-8am and late afternoon from 4pm-6pm.

If you prefer safaris in cars, it takes a whole day and covers a larger area.

For both forms of safaris, there is a tour guide available with a fully loaded gun just for your security.
