“Well-known as the leading producer of cocoa in Ghana, the Eastern Region is also the sixth largest region of the country. It covers an area of 19,323 square kilometres, occupying 8.1% of the total land area of Ghana. The region is endowed with sensational landscapes, historic remnants and traditional cultures.

The blend of ancient recipes with contemporary elegance in this region is so close to but such a contrast with Accra. The region is dominated by Lake Volta, one of the world’s largest man-made lakes, and the Akosombo Dam, source of much of Ghana’s hydroelectric power, Boti falls, Kwahu Scarp, and many more.
