Savannah Region

Welcome To Ghana’s Savannah. One of the newly Created regions of the country, the savannah region holds a population of nearly 1 million friendly and hardworking Ghanaians from all walk’s life and ethnicity. 

The Savannah region is much drier than southern areas of Ghana, due to its proximity to the Sahel, and the Sahara. With tourist site like Mole National Park, Bui National Dam, Larabanga Historic Mosque, Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary and a host of others are places worth seeing.
